APRIL= The Month of the Military Child

In 1986, then Secretary of Defense Caspar W. Weinberger, designated each April as “The Month of the Military Child,” to celebrate the contributions of military children and to honor their accomplishments and resilience. April is a time when we recognize and appreciate military children for their service and sacrifice. Military children live with perpetual challenges presented by frequent moves, parental deployments and life transitions including reintegration and dealing with profoundly changed parents. In their own way, military-connected children serve alongside their military parents.

In honor of the Month of the Military Child, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon SE MN will be providing children of currently serving Military, including current Guard and Reserves with a $15 gift card to use at AIR INSANITY Trampoline Park or BOWLOCITY Entertainment Center in Rochester, MN!
